# Features

Visual changes wait for someone to review them. Technical failures, such as a server error, open an issue straight away. Between scans, uptime checks watch whether your key pages answer.

## Checks

### Changed areas are outlined on the new screenshot

Each new screenshot is compared with the baseline you approved. Changed areas get numbered boxes, the largest first. [Read more](https://rookflare.com/visual-monitoring/)

### Each page is checked on desktop and on mobile

By default, pages are captured at 1440 and 390 pixels wide, so a layout that only breaks on phones is found too. Both captures count as one page. [Read more](https://rookflare.com/visual-monitoring/)

### Server errors and redirects

Each request is logged with its status code and response time. A 4xx or 5xx response opens an issue at once, without waiting for a review. [Read more](https://rookflare.com/website-health-monitoring/)

### JavaScript errors on the page

Errors thrown while a page loads are recorded with their message, so a broken checkout script shows up on the next scan. [Read more](https://rookflare.com/website-health-monitoring/)

### Images that fail to load

When an image returns an error, the page and the image address are listed. [Read more](https://rookflare.com/website-health-monitoring/)

### Uptime checks between scans

Key URLs are requested every minute on Agency and every 5 minutes on Growth. A page counts as down only after 3 failed checks in a row, about a minute apart, and a confirmation check. [Read more](https://rookflare.com/uptime-monitoring/)

### One alert per issue

You get one message when an issue opens and a separate one when it is resolved. If the same failure is found again, the issue is updated and no new alert is sent unless it gets worse. [Read more](https://rookflare.com/website-health-monitoring/)

### Click the buttons and forms that must never break

Open a screenshot of your page and click the order button, the contact form or the cart. Rookflare finds a stable way to recognize each one and opens a critical issue when it disappears or is hidden, on desktop or on mobile. No code needed. [Read more](https://rookflare.com/website-health-monitoring/)

### You decide what the new normal is

A visual change is never accepted on its own. Someone on your team approves it as the new baseline or marks it as expected. [Read more](https://rookflare.com/visual-monitoring/)

### Search settings that changed

A noindex robots tag and a missing title are flagged, and a changed title or canonical address is compared with the previous scan. [Read more](https://rookflare.com/website-health-monitoring/)

### Told when it goes down and when it is back

You get one email, Slack message or text when a page goes down, and a call if you turned that on, then another message when it answers again, with how long it was down. [Read more](https://rookflare.com/uptime-monitoring/)

### Expiring certificates and slow pages

A warning appears when an SSL certificate expires within 14 days or a page answers much slower than it usually does. [Read more](https://rookflare.com/uptime-monitoring/)

### Every issue keeps its history

An issue records when the failure was first seen, each scan that saw it again and when it was resolved. [Read more](https://rookflare.com/website-health-monitoring/)

### Alerts by email, Slack, text or call

Choose who gets an email and which Slack channel gets the message. From Growth, critical problems can also go out as a text message, and a short call when a site goes down. Screenshots stay in Rookflare and open after you sign in. [Read more](https://rookflare.com/website-health-monitoring/)

## Check the website the moment a deploy lands

### One URL for your CI or host

On Growth and Agency, create a deploy hook in the website settings. Your pipeline calls it with a secret token when a deploy finishes and Rookflare scans the website straight away.

- Ready snippets for GitHub Actions, Vercel, Netlify, WordPress and cURL
- Repeated calls for the same deploy start only one scan
- Rotate or revoke the token at any time

## Connect Rookflare to how you ship and get told

Start a scan from your deploy pipeline, get alerts where your team already looks and send clients a monthly report under your own logo.

- Scan after deploy (Growth and Agency plans): Your CI or host calls one URL with a secret token after each deploy. Repeated calls for the same deploy start only one scan. Snippets for GitHub Actions, Vercel, Netlify, WordPress, cURL.
- Email: Every plan. One alert per issue and a daily summary.
- Slack: Growth and Agency. Posts to the channel you pick.
- SMS and phone calls: Growth and Agency. A text for critical problems, a short call when a site goes down.
- Monthly client reports: Agency. Uptime and scan results for each client, under your logo and colors.
- Sign in with Google: Create an account and log in with your Google account.
